Bus Stop by Varin-maeus Bus Stop by Varin-maeus
It seemed to be the best title at the time, though I don't know any kids who get on the bus at the top of a high stone plinth in the middle of a rainforest ("When I was your age..."). And I doubt that's a regulation school bus drivers uniform.

8x10, painted in oil without regard for reality or plausibility.

I must live in the wrong era - if the school bus driver wore that uniform I would volunteer to repeat 8th grade.
When I was growing up (back when dinosaurs still roamed the earth) there were some school bus stops that were very unusual and/or scary. However, none that I recall required 4WD and a winch.

63' international Travelall, right?
I was about to buy a 58' Travelall but it was half way across the USA.

'65, I think. The '63 has a different grille. That's probably the only thing between the two that's different, though.

A '58 Travelall was actually the inspiration for doing this one in school bus yellow.

Haha sweet! My father had a 58' international pick up back when I was a little kid. It was gray and yellow. It was in the peterson automobile museum when it first opened for 6 months. The was in this book of classic pickups. [link](KGrHqFHJBcE9rNG8fKZBPmWIKZdfg~~60_35.JPG then sadly sadly he sold hit to a collator in Japan of all places.
